Change in Elective / Course is permitted on payment of Rs. 150/- for 4 credit course and Rs. 300/- for 8 credit course by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. |

The change is permitted only if the request alongwith the required payment is received by 15th February in case of January session and 16th August in case of July session. |

Change of Medium is permitted of Rs. 100/- by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi |

Change of Programme from BA to BCom / BTS or BCom to BA / BTS or BSc to BA / BCom is permitted only in the first year of study on payment of Rs. 300/- by way of Demand Draft. |

Iif the request is received by 15th February in case of admissions done for January session and 16th August in case of admissions done for July session. |

For change of Programme from BA / BCom to BTS, the student will be requierd to pay the difference of fee in addition to Rs. 300/- stated above. |

Correction of Address & Study Centres

There is a printed card for change / correction of address and change of Study Centre which is despatched along with the study material. In case there is any correction / change in the address it to SR&E Division, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110 068. |

There are advised not to write letters to any other officer in the University in this regard. Normally, it takes 4-6 weeks to effect the change. Therefore, the learners are advised to make their own arrangements to redirect the mail to the changed address during this period. |

In case a change of Study Centre is desired, the learners are advised to fill the proforma and address it to the Regional Centre concerned. Counselling facilities are not available for all the Programmes at all the centres. As such, learners are advised to make sure that counselling facilities are available for the subject he / she has chosen, at the new centre opted for. |

Request for change of Study Centres is normally granted subject to availability of seat for the programme at the new centre asked for. Change of Address and Study Centre is not permitted until admissions are finalised. |

There is no provision of change of Programme Study Centre for PGDMCH Programme in any Region. Even if one is in Central Government Service and is transferred, he / she will have to complete the PSC activities at the allotted PSC. But the SDC allotment can be changed and nearest SDC allotted. |

Similarly, change of Study Centre is not permissible in programmes where practical components are involved. For CIC / BCA / MCA students of Delhi Region, Study Centres will be allotted as per availability of seats therefore Study Centre once allotted will be not changed. |

| Change of Region |

| » |
A learner wants transfer from one region to another, he / she has to write to that effect to the Regional Centre from where he / she is seeking a transfer marking copies to the Regional Centre where he / she would like to transferred to. Further, he / she has to obtain a certificate from the Coordinator of the Study Centre from where he / she is seeking transfer from regarding the number of assignments submitted. |

The Regional director from where the learner is seeking the transfer will transfer all records including details of fee payment to the Regional Centre where the learner is going to under intimation to the Director, SR&E Division and the learner. |

For change of Region in Computer Programmes, NOC is to be obtained from the concerned Regional Centre where the learner wishes his / her transfer. |
| » |
No transfer is permitted from other regions to Delhi for MCA / BCA / CIC / BSc. |
| » |
No transfer of Programme Study Centre is allowed for PGDMCH / PGDHHM / BSc(N) Programme. |

For BSc(N) & PGDMCH only Registration Fee (Rs. 100/-) has to be paid. The Fee/Programme Fee will be collected from the selected candidates only. |

Attention is drawn to the sections regarding eligibility to the programme. Kindly submit attested copies of relevant documents to establish your eligibility. |

The fee is to be paid only by way of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU and Payable at the City where your Regional Centre is situated. |

Re-Registration
is an acitivity required to be completed by the continuing students during 1st August - 1st October for 1st Semester commencing from January and during 1st March - 15th April for 2nd Semester commencing from July for programmes wherever semester system is in vogue. |

|
| Preparatory Programme in Computing (PPC) |
|
|
| » |
MCA / BCA : Those who have not studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level will be required to successfully complete the Preparatory Programme in Computing (PPC) concurrently with the 1st / 2nd Semester and such candidates are also required to pay an additional fee of Rs. 500/- along with the admission form. |
|
|
| |
|
| Reservation |
|
|
| » |
The University provides reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC, Wards of Paramilitary Forces, Wards of Defence Personnel and Physically Handicapped Learners, as per the Government of India rules, for various programmes of the University. |
|
|
| |
|
| Scholarships and Reimbursement of Fee |
|
|
| » |
Reserved Categories, viz. SC/ST/OBC and Physically Handicapped learners have to pay the fee at the time of admission to the University along with other general category candiates. |
| » |
Physically Handicapped learners admitted to IGNOU are eligible for Government of India scholarships. They are advised to collect scholarship forms from the respective State Government Directorate of Social Welfare or Office of the Social Welfare Officer and submit the filled-in forms to them through the concerned Regional Director of IGNOU. |
| » |
Similarly, SC/ST, OBC learners have to collect and subsequently submit their scholarships forms to the respective State's Directorate of Social Welfare or Office of the Social Welfare Officer, through the concerned Regional Director of IGNOU for reimbursement of programme fee. |
| » |
Scholarship scheme of National Centre for Promotion of Employment of Disabled People (NCPEDP) for Post Graduate level programme is applicable to the students of this University also. Such students are advised to apply to awarding authority. |

| |
|
| Incomplete and Late Applications |
|
|
| » |
Incomplete application forms / Re-registration forms, received after due date applications having wrong options of courses or electives or false information, will be summarily rejected without any intimation to the learners. The learnes are, therefore, advised to fill the relevant columns carefully and enclose the attested copies of all the certificates asked for, and submit the form to the Regional Director concerned on or before the due date. |

| Simultaneous Registration |
|
|
| » |
Students who are already enrolled in a programme of one year or longer duration can also simultaneously register themselves for any certificate programme of 6 months duration. However, if there is any clash of dates of counselling or examination schedule of the two programmes taken, University would not be in a position to make adjustment. |
|
|
| |
|
| Refund of Fee |
|
|
| » |
Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. It is also not adjustable against any other programme of this University. However in cases where University denies admission, the programme fee will be refunded after deduction of registration fee. |
|
|
| |
|
| Disputes on Admission & Other University Matters |
|
|
| » |
The place of jurisdiction of filling of suit, if necessary, will be only at New Delhi / Delhi. |
